So many of my memories stem from my wonderful childhood memories of my Dad! One of my favorites was when he had worked all day in the garden, taken a shower (of course we could hear him humming or singing the entire shower long), and then he and Mom would get all dressed up and go out to dinner together. On these special occasions he would wear an aftershave called "Bay Rum," and I loved running up to him and he'd pick me up and hug me and tell me to be a good girl for the babysitter, and all I could smell was that heady and wonderful Bay Rum smell as he hugged me tight.    
 
This soap is my nod to those summertime memories of sweet hugs from my Dad, his smile, and that twinkle in his eye; all tied to that wonderful Bay Rum smell.
 
This simple bar has that exact soft smell I remember and feels wonderful on the skin.
